Imam Abdul Wafi Azzaki bin Sinwan is a distinguished Malaysian Qāri and Ḥāfiẓ, renowned for his excellence in Qur’anic memorization and recitation. He holds a Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Honours) in the Science of Al-Qur’an from Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU), Malaysia.

He has achieved numerous accolades, including 2nd place nationally in the 1–30 Juzuk category at the Malaysia National Al-Quran Recital & Memorisation Assembly (MTHQK) in both 2016 and 2019. Internationally, he represented Malaysia at the prestigious King Abdul Aziz International Holy Quran Competition in Mecca and was crowned champion at the 1st Eurasian Recitation Competition in Russia.

Ustaz Abdul Wafi is deeply respected for his mastery of Tajwīd, eloquent recitation, and dedication to the Qur’anic sciences, inspiring audiences locally and abroad. In addition to his Qur’anic expertise, Ustaz Abdul Wafi is a registered marriage celebrant through the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) and an authorised Islamic marriage celebrant under the denomination of Islam in WA.

We offer structured Qur’an classes and Islamic studies programs for children, teens, and adults of all levels. Taught by experienced teachers, our classes focus on proper recitation (Tajwīd), memorisation (Ḥifẓ), and understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Al Majid Mosque provides Islamic marriage (Nikah) services, conducted by our Iman who is a registered and authorised celebrant under the denomination of Islam in WA. We guide couples through the Nikah process and ensure it aligns with both Islamic and Australian legal requirements.

Our Madrassa classes help children and youth build a strong foundation in Islamic knowledge, including Qur’an, Hadith, and essential teachings. A supportive, welcoming environment to learn, grow, and strengthen their faith.

Our imam offer faith-based counselling and spiritual guidance for individuals, couples, and families. Whether you're facing personal challenges, seeking marital advice, or looking for spiritual support, we are here to help in a confidential and compassionate environment.

Celebrate the holy months and key Islamic occasions with us. From Tarawih prayers and nightly iftar during Ramadan to Eid prayers and family festivals, our mosque is a hub for spiritual renewal and community connection throughout the year.
